Hence, a high-level delegation from the UNWTO is set to meet with the state Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, to discuss the production of a comprehensive Tourism Development Master Plan for the state.

This unprecedented recognition underscores the significant strides Governor Oyebanji has made in the realm of tourism, showcasing Ekiti State as a burgeoning hub for cultural and ecological tourism.
UN Tourism’s involvement is a clear endorsement of the governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to transforming Ekiti into a premier tourist destination.
